Anna Kendrick Saturday Night Live: Dongs All Over the World Sketch

Publish date: 2024-10-16

The new Lonely Island? Anna Kendrick hosted Saturday Night Live on April 5, and the Pitch Perfect 2 star brought several musical sketches along with her.

One favorite entitled “Dongs All Over the World,” featured some of of SNL’s feistiest ladies — including Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Sasheer Zamata — singing about traveling the globe in search of international “dongs.”

In the vein of Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg‘s classic “D*** in a Box” sketch from 2006, the raunchy clip featured the five “nasty girls” singing about skipping the sites in favor of getting it on.

“Here’s a quick tip that you need to know, when you’re travelin’ the world with your girls in tow,” Kendrick, 28, rapped. “Keep a tight schedule and you can’t go wrong. You’ll see none of the country but all of the dongs. 9 p.m. get off the plane, 9:01 go find the dongs, 9:02 destroy the dongs, 9:03 back on the plane.”

The skit also featured “I Love It” singers Icona Pop as the airplane’s groovy captains as the ladies made their way across oceans in search of dongs.

The night was filled with music as Kendrick’s opening monologue was a personalized version of the popular “Belle” song from Beauty and the Beast, and she also did a skit playing Ariel from the Little Mermaid and singing modern pop hits.
