Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg Talk the Lessons of Fatherhood

Being a dad is one of the hardest jobs on the planet. VIBE sat down with everyone from Ne-Yo and Snoop Dogg to Real Husbands of Hollywood actor Boris Kodjoe to find out what lessons they’ve learned from being a dad.

“I learned how to be a better father by experiencing what the the lack of father could do,” Ne-Yo tell VIBE.

“I like the pressure of knowing that there is someone out there that depends on me, looks up to me.” says crooner Raheem DeVaughn. “No matter what I am to the world, that doesn’t matter. To them, I’m just daddy — a positive role model in their life.”

“It helps me think,” Snoop tells VIBE, while rapper TechN9ne calls his kids his “saviors,” and says they saved him from going down the wrong road in life.

“Trying to teach kids to be thoughtful about others outside of themselves is one of the best lessons I’ve learned,” adds The Dream.
